You leave Marrakech over the High Atlas and visit Ait Ben Haddou before reaching the valleys of the south. After Todra Gorge, you arrive in Merzouga for a camel trek into the dunes and a night in camp. The difference is day three, where you stay in the Merzouga area with time for local desert-edge life, calm viewpoints, and a slower rhythm before the return drive to Marrakech.
Your driver guide shares Moroccan tips throughout, what to pack for changing temperatures, how the camp evenings work, and where to find the most beautiful light for photos.
