Football tickets in Morocco should be bought through the sales channel named for the specific match you want to attend. Confirm the organiser, actual stadium, buyer requirements and delivery method before paying. Look for the organiser’s appointment of the seller, even when a listing uses the national team’s name or a familiar ticketing brand.
The purchasing process can differ between a Botola league match, a Throne Cup tie, an Atlas Lions international and a continental tournament. Each booking needs its own checks, especially when you are visiting from overseas and have limited time to collect a ticket.
For the wider journey, our Morocco football and sports travel guide connects the game with the cities and practical decisions around your trip.
Football tickets in Morocco: start with the match notice

Start with the club, federation or tournament organiser’s announcement. Find the notice for the exact fixture, then follow its purchasing instructions. Check for a newer announcement before opening the checkout.
Record the teams, competition, date, local kick-off time, stadium and city. Identify whether the event involves the senior national team, a youth side, women’s football or futsal. A page headed “Morocco tickets” can contain several different types of event, including matches outside Morocco.
The stadium on an older club profile may differ from the venue confirmed for your fixture. Likewise, a ticket collection address may be a separate location from the ground where the match takes place.
If you are still choosing between fixtures, use our guide to choosing a football match in Morocco. Once you have selected the game, the next decision is whether its ticket arrangements work for you.
Which official sales channel applies to your match?

Use the competition and organiser to find the relevant announcement.
| Match type | Where to start | What to establish before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic league, including Botola fixtures | The home club’s match announcement and any competition updates | The appointed seller, available sections and any spectator restrictions |
| Throne Cup | The organiser’s notice for the particular tie or final, alongside club announcements | Who handles sales and whether the venue or allocation differs from a league match |
| Morocco national team | The Royal Moroccan Football Federation, or the named organiser for an overseas fixture | The team category, host country, sales channel and entry requirements |
| CAF club competitions | The home club’s notice for a home leg; the tournament organiser’s notice for a centrally organised event | The seller and conditions for that specific fixture |
| FIFA tournaments | FIFA’s announcement for the relevant tournament | Its appointed channels, sales phase and published ticket terms |
A platform appointed for one match should not be treated as the official seller for the whole country.
For a concrete club example, the Wydad–CODM match sales page, checked on 10 October 2026, described entry using the Wydad Ticketing app or a physical ticket. Its published sales terms identify Wydad Athletic Club and Play Management Group. Follow the notice issued by your own club or match organiser when buying for a different fixture.
Understand what ticket marketplaces offer
SeatPick compares listings from ticketing sites, while Viagogo and Ticombo describe marketplace services. Their guarantees and seller checks are separate from an organiser’s authorisation.
For a Ticketmaster listing, check the individual event’s organiser, country and venue. Its national team page can cover fixtures outside Morocco.
Before using any listing, establish the exact event, seller, permitted transfer method and organiser’s conditions. A refund promise from an intermediary cannot resolve every problem with a ticket that the organiser does not accept.
Check buyer identity, names and seating rules
Read the identity requirements before creating an order. Distinguish between information needed for the account, details attached to each ticket and identification requested at collection or entry.
If a form asks for a CIN, it is referring to a Moroccan national identity document. An overseas visitor should ask whether a passport is accepted and how its details should be entered. Use the document type the seller accepts for your nationality.
Where tickets carry attendee names, enter them as instructed and check the spelling before payment. Establish whether the person making the booking must attend or collect the tickets, and whether every guest needs a separate account.
Wydad’s published terms, reviewed on 10 October 2026, say valid photo identification may be requested at entry and must match the name on the ticket. Check which identification the seller accepts for your particular booking.
Children, groups and accessible seating
Check whether children need their own tickets, whether an adult must accompany them and whether any age restrictions apply. The October 2026 Wydad–CODM notice required a separate ticket for a child; another event needs its own confirmation.
For a group, verify the purchase limit and whether the selected seats are together. Check the seat numbers as well as the price category.
Contact the organiser about accessible seating, companion arrangements and the appropriate entrance before paying. For away supporters, confirm whether their allocation is available and whether restrictions apply.
If an event requires a separate fan registration or access credential, establish how it relates to the ticket. Do not assume that requirement applies to other competitions.
Payment, currency and confirmation
Check the full amount at checkout, including the ticket price, booking fees and any delivery charges. Record the currency rather than relying on a search result or a marketplace’s converted display.
Wydad’s published terms express prices in Moroccan dirhams. Check the displayed currency again when purchasing for a different organiser.
An overseas card needs its own check. Ask whether the seller accepts cards issued in your country and whether your bank can complete the required authentication. If an account needs a phone number, confirm that your country code is supported.
After paying, check both the order status and the confirmation sent by the seller. A pending bank transaction, a saved seat or an application acknowledgement may not be a completed ticket purchase.
If payment fails or the order stays pending, contact the seller with the order reference before submitting repeated payments. Keep the receipt and support correspondence, and send only the information needed to resolve the problem.
Follow the payment process announced by the organiser. Verify any request to pay elsewhere before sending money.
Ticket delivery, collection and gate checks

Establish how the usable ticket will reach you. Possible arrangements include an app, a downloadable ticket or physical collection, but the match instructions determine which format is accepted.
A booking email may contain a receipt, collection voucher or application reference rather than the ticket needed at the gate. Open the actual ticket and check the match, section, attendee details and entrance instructions.
For mobile entry, confirm that you can install the required app and sign in on the phone you will carry. Keep it charged. Download an offline version if the seller provides and permits one; use a screenshot or printout only when the event accepts that format.
Keep ticket barcodes private. Sharing them publicly can expose the entry credential to someone else.
Physical collection needs time in your itinerary
If collection is required, establish:
- The exact collection point and opening dates.
- The deadline before kick-off.
- The identity document and order proof required.
- Whether the purchaser must attend in person.
- Whether collection is available on the day you arrive.
Check that the written dates agree with the named days of the week. The October 2026 Wydad–CODM listing contained conflicting collection dates and weekday labels. A buyer needed clarification from the ticketing service before travelling to collect a ticket.
For documents, phone preparation and other items to organise before departure, see our Morocco travel essentials guide.
Changes, postponements and refunds
Read the cancellation and refund terms before payment. Establish what happens if the fixture is postponed, moved to another venue, cancelled or played without spectators. Your own inability to attend may have different consequences.
For a rescheduled game, ask whether the ticket remains valid and whether buyers who cannot attend the new date have an option to request a refund. Check the deadline and who must submit the request.
Wydad’s published terms, reviewed on 10 October 2026, limit ordinary refunds and exchanges, provide for reimbursement following cancellation and state that no refund is made beyond 30 days after the scheduled event date. They also describe crediting cancelled-event payments to the purchaser’s payment card. Apply these conditions only when purchasing under that platform’s terms.
Read the cancellation message issued for your match alongside the terms accepted at purchase. Keep the original booking details and ask the seller to clarify any inconsistency in the instructions.
Keep ticket and travel conditions separate
Check the cancellation terms for hotel, flight and transport reservations separately from the ticket.
Before committing to the trip, compare the financial consequences of a fixture change across your bookings. Flexible accommodation can help when the match date is unsettled, but check its actual cancellation deadline and payment terms.
Likewise, a ticket transfer feature needs confirmation. Sending another person a barcode or account password does not establish a permitted transfer.
World Cup 2030 tickets in Morocco
Morocco, Portugal and Spain have been appointed as the principal hosts of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. That hosting decision is separate from ticket sales.
Ticket information checked on 10 October 2026: the FIFA pages reviewed for this update did not provide a confirmed 2030 ticket-sales opening date, price list or application window. Use FIFA’s official ticket information to check subsequent announcements before making a purchase.
Do not treat estimates of sales opening in late 2027 or early 2028 as FIFA announcements. Likewise, projected euro prices, resident discounts, category numbers and ballot arrangements from other tournaments should not be presented as confirmed rules for 2030.
An interest registration, if FIFA makes one available, is different from a ticket application or allocated seat. Read what the registration actually provides before building your travel plans around it.
For a future Moroccan venue, wait for the match allocation and ticket conditions. A planned stadium or a proposed final venue cannot establish which match your ticket will cover.
What to check before paying
Complete these checks for the specific order:
- Event: the teams, competition and age category match the game you want.
- Schedule: the date, local kick-off time, stadium and city agree with the latest official notice.
- Seller: the organiser names or links the purchasing channel you are using.
- Admission: you meet the identity, age, sector and any fan-registration requirements.
- Seating: the allocation suits your group and any accessibility needs.
- Payment: the total, currency, fees and supported payment method are clear.
- Delivery: you can obtain the accepted ticket format before the entry deadline.
- Changes: you understand transfer, postponement and refund conditions.
After purchasing, retain the order reference, receipt, accepted terms and delivery instructions. Check the organiser’s updates again before collection and departure for the stadium.
Frequently asked questions
Can tourists buy football tickets in Morocco?
Check whether the particular sale is open to overseas visitors and whether its identity, payment and delivery requirements work for you. A general team listing cannot answer that question for every fixture. Ask the appointed seller if visitor eligibility is unclear.
Do I need a passport or a Moroccan identity card?
The event determines which documents are accepted. If you do not have a Moroccan CIN, confirm the passport option before purchasing. Also ask what must be presented at collection and entry, especially when the ticket carries an attendee’s name.
Can I pay with an overseas bank card?
Confirm the seller’s supported cards and issuing countries, then check any authentication requirement with your bank. Check acceptance with the seller handling this match. Keep a pending transaction separate from a confirmed booking.
Can a ticket be transferred or refunded?
Follow the terms for the specific match and purchase. Transfers may require a designated feature or organiser approval. Cancellation, postponement and a change of personal plans can have different refund conditions; check the procedure and deadline before paying.
Plan your time around the confirmed ticket

Once the ticket arrangements are clear, allow time for any collection requirement, admission checks and the journey after the game. Keep sightseeing flexible until the actual venue and kick-off are confirmed. For a Rabat fixture, our guide to exploring Rabat can help you plan time in the city around the football.
Visit Morocco Together’s Rabat Medina & Souks Experience (1 Day) offers a guided city visit covering the Kasbah of the Udayas, medina, traditional souks and Atlantic corniche. Consider it for another day in Rabat, leaving matchday available for ticket collection and stadium entry. The service page lists pickup from central hotels and riads, with a nearby meeting point confirmed for accommodation in car-free areas. Ask Visit Morocco Together to confirm availability and timing for your dates. The sightseeing booking has its own inclusions and conditions; football admission must be arranged separately through the match’s appointed seller.
